Louis was working on the railway, saving for a house.
Then burnout hit. Skincare became a ritual, and a spark.
He launched Clear For Men from his bedroom.
He used his house deposit to fund it.
Then lost his job,, was made redundant.
He ended the year with 20 orders, he thought he would have 2000.
"My skincare routine gave me five minutes to switch off."
Louis does everything himself, fulfilment, customer service, marketing.
He jumps for joy at every order.
He stopped hiding behind product shots and started showing more of himself.
That honesty started to build trust.
He closed 2023 with 179 orders.
“There were so many moments I wanted to give up. I cried on the floor wondering if I was making the biggest mistake of my life.”
His story resonated.
Support grew.
He was invited to TikTok HQ.
Won Bronze for Inspiring Young Person of the Year.
Louis became a finalist for Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
Clear For Men reached 700 orders.
Clear For Men was just listed on Superdrug.
Louis has earned public support from voices like Simon Squibb.
For Mental Health Awareness Week, he donated 100% of profits.
He is sill packing every order himself.
15% profit goes to charity.
My next goal? Get Clear For Men onto Australian retail shelves.
The mission is the same: help more men take five.
Every order still matters. Every message still fuels him.
Staying grounded. Staying purpose-led.
And proving what one founder can do with belief and no backup plan.
"Surround yourself with likeminded people. Enjoy the process. Build with purpose, not just for money. And when it gets hard - reach out. It’s lonely, but it doesn’t have to be."
Louis has had moments worth being proud of. Just from showing up when it was tough. We believe every win in business matters & here are a few we found. They might seem small to some, but the younger version of him would be proud. And so are we.
